Hi, I'm Katie Billings, a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist and founder of Billings Speech & Language Therapy. I provide in-home, play-based pediatric speech and language therapy for children and families in Irvine and the surrounding Orange County area.

I hold a Bachelor's degree from Cal State Fullerton and a Master's degree from Maryville University, with experience across pediatric clinics, schools, and early intervention settings. Each of those experiences pointed me toward the same belief: children learn best when therapy feels meaningful, engaging, and connected to their everyday lives. That conviction is what led me to create Billings Speech & Language Therapy and bring sessions directly into the home, where kids feel most comfortable and confident. Whether we're playing with favorite toys, navigating daily routines, or finding opportunities for communication in the moments that make up a child's world, I strive to make every session functional, personalized, and enjoyable.

My focus areas include early language development, speech sound disorders, AAC, and childhood motor speech disorders.

This work is also deeply personal to me. Growing up with a younger brother with autism gave me an early appreciation for just how powerful communication, connection, and individualized support can be. Watching his journey helped shape the clinician I am today, and it continues to inspire my commitment to helping every child find their voice and build the connections that make life meaningful.
